A story is not an executable contract until the evidence, terms, eligibility and counterparty capacity are confirmed.

For three centuries the only way to take the other side of a war risk was to become a Name at Lloyd’s and pledge your own wealth against it without limit. The exposure never went away. The access did. Every class below is a privately negotiated contract between Eligible Contract Participants — which is what makes it writable here, and what keeps it off the listed exchanges.

  1. 01

    War and armed conflict.

By October 27, 2026, will the reported action involving Iran War be confirmed by two independent official records?41% guidance

What this class covers, and how it settles
    • Marine, aviation and land war risk
    • Hull, cargo and charterer’s liability
    • Port, canal and strait blockage
    • Supply-route interdiction
    • Trade disruption
    • Territorial and expropriation exposure
    • Sovereign contract frustration

Settlement follows the named index or declared trigger, not your actual loss, so basis risk between the two remains with you and is disclosed before you accept.

  2. 02

    Political violence and coordinated attack.

No contract on today's book in this class.

What this class covers, and how it settles
    • Coordinated attack, sabotage and malicious damage
    • Strikes, riots and civil commotion
    • Property damage
    • Denial of access
    • Contingent supply-chain loss
    • The business interruption that follows any of it

Aggregate and parametric triggers only. Nothing is written on an identified individual, and capacity for a given peril and territory is finite.

  3. 03

    Unlawful-activity enforcement.

By October 26, 2026, will the reported action involving Iran be confirmed by two independent official records?43% guidance

What this class covers, and how it settles
    • Sanctions designations
    • AML, bribery and corruption actions
    • Customs, tax and trade penalties
    • Licence revocation
    • Federal rescheduling
    • Asset forfeiture
    • Cargo seizure
    • Counterfeiting and product diversion

Settlement follows an official record about the member’s own exposure — a published designation, enforcement filing, judgment, consent agreement or settlement. The record is the trigger: nothing settles on this firm’s view of anyone’s conduct, nothing is written on physical harm, and no structure may be used to fund or indemnify unlawful conduct.

  4. 04

    Gaming and competition integrity.

By January 8, 2027, will International Center publish a final licence, enforcement or penalty order concerning Responsible Gaming?41% guidance

1 live in this class6 perils written

What this class covers, and how it settles
    • Licence, renewal and suitability actions
    • Payout, promotional and cash-out liability
    • Jackpot and correlated tail exposure
    • Competition-integrity findings
    • Responsible-gaming penalties
    • Cross-border enforcement

Available to licensed operators and other verified ECPs. An antitrust firewall bars consumer odds data from any structure, and licence outcomes settle on the regulator’s published decision.

  5. 05

Box office, stage and the performing arts.

No contract on today's book in this class.

What this class covers, and how it settles
    • Opening-weekend and cumulative box-office receipts, domestic and worldwide
    • Broadway and West End weekly grosses, attendance and capacity
    • Run length, recoupment and closing notice
    • Opera and ballet season subscription
    • Touring receipts
    • Festival and award-season outcomes

Settlement follows the published exhibitor or producer report — the studio-reported gross, the Broadway League weekly figure or the named house — never your own return. Treatment of motion-picture box-office receipts under the CEA is subject to counsel review before any contract in this class is offered.
